Music Box Inc. Receives DSEW Grant to Offer Affordable Music Production Courses in Collierville
Music Box Inc., a leader in music production education, is excited to announce its receipt of the Digital Skills Education Workforce (DSEW) Grant from the State of Tennessee. This highly competitive grant will allow Music Box Inc. to provide affordable, cutting-edge music production courses to Tennessee youth, helping them develop critical technology skills and prepare for careers in music production, sound engineering, digital composition, and the tech industry.
Starting January 2025, Music Box Inc. will offer both beginner and advanced music production courses at 80% off regular tuition, thanks to the DSEW grant. These specialized music production courses will be available to children ages 7-18 at Music Box locations in Germantown and Collierville, TN.
Students will have hands-on access to state-of-the-art music production equipment and software in fully-equipped technology labs. They will learn essential music production techniques, including digital music production, audio recording, sound design, DJing, live sound engineering, and podcasting.

Course Details:
20-hour program (in person, 10 weeks (twice per week), or as a half-day, week-long summer camp)
Level 1: Basics of Music Production
Level 2: Advanced Music Production, Audio Recording, Digital Composition, DJing, Live Sound Engineering, Podcasting (prerequisite: Level 1)
Programs for ages 7-10, 11-13, 14-18, and adults
Limited to 8 students per class
Affordable tuition: $194 per course (saving $668 per student)
Special Incentive: Students who complete two or more courses will receive a free external hard drive to enhance their music production setup.
Courses available in Germantown and Collierville.
Additionally, students will gain access to all other monthly music production programming and services offered by Music Box Inc., further enriching their learning experience.
