PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Payment is due in full at the time of registration, as Camp spots are limited. There are no refunds for cancellations, or any missed Camp days. If your child can no longer attend the scheduled week of camp and you notify a Music Box administrator (info@musicboxinc.com, or (901) 626-0973) in writing at least 2 weeks prior to camp start date, we can either move your child’s registration to another week of camp or issue credit on your account, to be used on other Music Box services. Late cancellations (cancellations within 2 weeks from Camp start date) do not receive any refunds.

In rare occasion when a refund is approved and issued, a cancellation fee of $30 will be with-held from the refund amount.

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

In order to ensure camp at Music Box is enjoyable and memorable for everyone, we have a strict behavior policy. We want all our campers to have a positive experience, and we strive to work out potential problems with the children and their parents / guardians. Music Box reserves the right to remove a child from camp if their behavior is destructive, disruptive, threatening, or creates a safety hazard.

SICK CHILD

If your child has to miss camp due to illness, contact us at 901.626.0973 to report his or her absence. If a camper arrives with symptoms of illness, including a temperature over 99 degrees, the child will not be permitted to stay. A parent or guardian must pick up sick/ill children immediately.

DROP OFF / PICK UP

Campers will not be released to anyone not listed in the Pick Up Authorization field of the registration form (filled out by a responsible adult on the first day of camp). Authorized individuals must sign their camper IN and OUT each day. Camp staff are required to check ID of all persons picking up children. If you need to add an authorized individual to your pick up list, contact the camp director at 901.626.0973. Drop Off for all campers is between 8:30 and 9 am. Please do not arrive earlier than 8:30 am as there will not be a staff member ready to greet you. An adult must accompany their child into the building. Pick up is promptly at 3:30 pm, unless the child is enrolled in the Aftercare program for that week.

LATE PICKUP AT THE END OF THE CAMP DAY

After 3:30 pm, parents / guardians are considered late for pick up. Our staff’s time is as valuable to us, therefore a late pick up fee of $2 per minute will be incurred after 3:30 pm. Payment is due at the time of pick up, with no exceptions. Balance due will be charged to the credit card on file.

PERSONAL ITEMS AND ELECTRONICS

Music Box is not responsible for lost or stolen items; do not send your child to camp with anything valuable, precious, or irreplaceable. Label all belongings that your child will bring to camp. Personal belongings should be kept in a backpack or bag labeled with the camper’s name. Items left at the end of the camp season will be donated or disposed of. Campers are not allowed to bring personal toys including games, LEGO, or other items to be used during camp programming. If you child wishes to bring a book, toy, or game to camp, they may do so, but the item(s) must remain stowed in their backpack/cubby until the appropriate time. Items left behind will be donated / disposed of, if not picked up within a week after Camp end-date.

FOOD

We do not provide any food or snacks, or drinks, besides water from the water fountain, to campers, but we do dedicate 2 15-minute breaks for snacks, and a 30 minute break for lunch. All Campers are responsible for bringing their own snacks and lunch. Campers with allergies, or food restrictions, can be accommodated with a separate eating area. Please make sure to indicate all allergies on the camp intake forms (during the first day of camp) and contact the Camp Director at 901.626.0973 for any special accommodations.

PHOTOGRAPH RELEASE

Music Box requests that parents authorize a photographic release for each participant, issuing Music Box the right to photograph, video, or record Camp participants for the purpose of illustrations, publications, Camp programs & materials, as well as websites. If a parent / guardian wishes to decline this authorization, he or she must indicate so by email to info@musicboxinc.com Camper’s names will not be used with any photographs.
