“Monthly Performance Workshops represent very important milestones in our students’ learning journeys. And not only for the students, but for parents and teachers as well. The audience is always very encouraging, while the performers exceed all expectations, including their own. This proves that we are capable of doing BIG things with the right support system. It is a joy to witness the growth that happens here.”
GROUP LEARNING
All monthly Performance Workshops are offered to Music Box students. These are instructor led interactive performance sessions for piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, drum, and vocals students. Children and adult students meet monthly, in two separate forums.

Performance workshops are:
- an essential component of Music Box’s comprehensive curriculum
- designed as an opportunity for students to perform in an informal setting, strengthen their emotional intelligence skills, and prepare them for bigger, more formal stage performances
- forums that are connecting all Music Box students in a safe, positive, fun and educational environment
- open to students, their families & friends
Note:
Students are nominated to perform by there teacher.
Each monthly performance workshop offers an opportunity to practice performance and learning to provide positive feedback. This structured and guided process helps students build team-work, communications, emotional intelligence and leadership skills.
“I believe that the performance workshops are one of the most integral parts of Music Box’s learning experiences for students who truly seek the future in performing. Over the years of jamming with different people and performing I have learned that the only way to get more comfortable playing in front of an audience is through doing that exact thing, and these performance workshops are a perfect environment for that. Workshops also help me as a teacher to see what aspects of performing my students may need guidance with. ”
