Week of July 29
Fun, interactive & educational Drum Camp for 6-11 y/o children, with Showcase!
Explore & learn to play various percussion instruments as a real-life music Band. Learn what it takes to be in a Band, develop your Band identity, budget, marketing materials. Lead and learn within your individual Band role, & build onto essential social & emotional skills. Play on professional gear, sound & light equipment, contribute to Band rehearsals, and perform on a real-life stage in front of your family & friends.
Camp Curriculum
Children Will:
- Learn all about what it takes to be in a Band, essentials of drumming, as well as the basics of music theory and instrument skills
- Get to perform as a team, in a Band setting, interact with other musicians, make friends, socialize and learn in a positive, creative and safe environment
- Play and learn on top-of-the-line instruments & technology
- Build self-confidence & a sense of a musician identity
Program Requirements:
- All skill and performance levels, instrument interests and music preferences are welcome - No prior music experience is necessary
Daily Camp Schedule
8:30 am - Drop Off / Team Building
9:00 am - Music Instruction / Creative Play
9:45 am - Snack (bring your own)
10:00 am - Music Instruction / Active Play
11:15 am - Lunch (bring your own)
11:45 - Music Instruction
1:00 pm - Rehearsals
2:45 pm - Snack (bring your own)
3:00 pm - Center Time
3:30 pm - Pick Up
Aftercare is available for Mon-Thu, 3:30 to 5:30 at additional $50 for the week.
Friends & Family Showcase - Friday, at 2:30 pm, with pick up right after.
Camp Fees
$350 for a 5-day all-day Camp, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Aftercare is available Mon-Thu, for additional $50 / week.
Payment due at the time of registration.
Cancelations are allowed up to a week prior to camp start date, and a partial refund may be available.
